According to OSHA, there are three types of confined space rescue: Non-entry, entry by others, and entry by trained employees from the company.
Entry rescue refers to the act of the rescuer entering a confined space where the victims are trapped. This process does place the rescuer in potential danger, which is why proper training is critical.
