PEC Training

The PEC Basic Orientation course is designed to take the place of multiple Operator orientations and to give each student a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry, upstream, downstream, onshore or offshore.

PEC Basic Orientation Safety Training Course

This 8-hour course meets API RP 75 & API RP T-1 requirements upon successful completion and provides a basic understanding of general safety information at an awareness orientation level. PEC Basic Orientation is the most widely used safety orientation in the U.S. onshore and offshore E&P (Exploration and Production) Industry. Accredited by both SafeLandUSA and SafeGulf, this one-day safety orientation can give your employees both credentials. Upon completing the course, the attendee will be issued a physical and digital PEC ID card with their name, company name, picture, barcode, and completed the course.

All students are automatically entered into PEC’s Advanced Training Tracker where your company’s clients and auditors can view proof of employee orientation.

PEC Core Compliance Safety Training Course

This 24-hour course accredited by both SafeLandUSA and SafeGulf ensures your employees are trained in the safety topics commonly required by owner clients in pre-qualification process and training matrices as the course covers over 40 of the most requested health, safety, and environmental (HSE) topics. Core Compliance meets full training in 29 HSE topics while meeting awareness level in an additional 15 topics. Based on accepted industry practices supported and recommended by owner clients, PEC Core Compliance is the most comprehensive and cost-effective way to meet the entry level safety training your customer(s) and regulatory agencies require. Upon completing the course, the attendee will be issued a physical and digital PEC ID card with their name, company name, picture, barcode, and completed the course.

This course has an annual 8-hour instructor-led refresher to keep student’s certifications up to date.

Upon course completion, the attendee will receive a course completion card from the American Heart Association that is valid for 2 years.
